Okpella Education Tour, Day three, was held at the Iddo community and it marked another inspiring and remarkable milestone in the ongoing mission to ignite a solid passion for learning and personal development and growth among young minds across the vicinities in Okpella. The event, which drew participation from both students, educators, and facilitators, was indeed a proof to the transformative power of education and community engagement.

The event commenced with a compelling and admonishing address which was given by the National President of NAOS, who therefore reinforced and reinstated the tour’s vision; to build a future where every child in Okpella is empowered with knowledge, confidence, and purpose.

The highlights of the day also included a very powerful session, which was taken by Dr. Mrs. Sado, who was passionately advocating for girl child education. She challenged cultural barriers and also encouraged young girls to recognize their values, principles and standards, and also, pursue their dreams unhinged, so also should they be fueled with utmost determination.

Mr. Meshach Anetokhe gave a very engaging and practical speech that focused on the significance of discipline, focus, and consistency. His tactics was a relatable one as it connects greatly with the students, urging and compelling them to take full responsibility for their future.

An interactive Q&A session was delivered for the students as a platform for expressing their thoughts, asking questions, and sharing aspirations and opinions, thus bringing to light the impact and importance of the day’s discussion sessions. The session ended with a quiz and motivational challenge, fusing learning with excitement.

The honouring presence and attendance of the community leaders and stakeholders expanded the importance and value of the initiative, as they praised the efforts and encouraged students to seize the amazing opportunity given to them.

The team, while leaving Iddo, had a renewed hope that a generation of educated, intelligent, confident, and intentional youths is indeed on the rise in Okpella.
