The former Chief Executive Officer of e-commerce giant Konga has sadly died. Nick Imudia, an indigene of the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, reportedly died by suicide on the evening of Tuesday, 27 June 2024, by jumping off the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Imudia, before his demise, was said to have called his UK-based brother to discuss how to distribute his wealth should anything happen to him. He also called his younger daughter, whom he had with his ex-wife, to assure her that he would always be there for her and that she should look at the sky whenever she needed to see him.

Imudia’s suicide has left family, close friends, and Nigerians in shock. Until his death, Nick Imudia was the CEO of D.light, a leading innovator in residential solar energy.
