Diogo José Texéira da Silva, a Portuguese footballer popularly known as Diogo Jota, passes away in a car accident on July 3,2025, at 28years old which has left the world in shock as he recently got married to his beautiful wife.
He is known for his dribbling abilities, explosive pace and a powerful attacker on the football field who has played for Atletico Matrix (2016-2018), Wolverhampton Wanderers (2017-2020) and currently playing for Liverpool (2020 till date).
The Spain emergency service confirmed Jota’s death in a car accident together with his brother, André Silva at 12:30am local time. According to them,the incident took place on the A-52 motorway connecting Northern Portugal and Spain. After Investigations and inspections carried out by the Spanish Civil Guard,they confirmed that Jota’s car-a Lamborghini Aventador suffered a bursted tyre while overtaking another car which caused the crash.
His death has caused a grieving moment to the world, particularly his family and fans who considers him a legend that would forever live in their heart.
