Notable Nigerian movie production and distribution company FilmOneNg presents the arrival of its latest film, The Farmer’s Bride. The movie is set to be released in all cinemas from September 27th, 2024.
Produced by FilmOne Studios and distributed by Filmoneng, The Farmer’s Brides features an ensemble cast of Femi Branch (Adire), Gbubemi Ejeye (Far from Home), Tobi Bakare (Brotherhood, Gangs of Lagos), and Efe Irele (L.I.F.E.). Mercy Aigbe (Ada Omo daddy) Wumi Toriola(Aburo).
The Farmer’s Bride, directed by Adebayo Tijani and Jack’eneth Okpukeme, is a period drama set in the 1980s that tells the tale of a love story between a rich farmer named Odun (FFemi Branch) and his young bride (Gbubemi Ojo) and her forbidden affair with his Odin’s Cousin. Film One Studio promises an unforgettable story wrapped in suspense and intrigue. The Farmer’s Bride is evidence of the continuation of FilmOne’s applaudable contribution to the Nigerian movie production industry after their hit movie, Adire.
