The Faculty of Education, University of Benin, has announced the passing of Dr Mrs Obanor of the Department of Educational Management on 23 February 2026.
Dr Obanor was a distinguished academic and dedicated educator who made significant contributions to the Faculty and the University, leaving a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.
The notice was issued by Comrade Obiefuna Emmanuella, Public Relations Officer, Vanguard Executive, Faculty of Education, UNIBEN.
The Faculty extends its sincere condolences to her family, friends and colleagues, acknowledging the profound loss occasioned by her passing. Her commitment to academic excellence and to the development of her students will be deeply remembered and cherished.
Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
