Prof. Edoba Bright Omoregie, SAN, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, paid a visit to the Faculty of Education on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.

During his visit to the faculty, he was accompanied by several dignitaries of the University, who commissioned various key projects aimed at enhancing the academic environment and promoting excellence in teaching and learning within the prestigious faculty.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edoba Bright Omoregie, officially launched the new Faculty of Education car park. He stated that the vision behind the project was to make parking more convenient and to improve the environment for staff and students of the faculty.

In a gesture of appreciation, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Elvis Agbonlahor, presented a gift to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edoba Bright Omoregie.

This official statement was signed by the faculty student leaders: Comr Izsvbuwa Nathaniel Omoenuwa, President of the Faculty; Comr Gabriel Oghosa Eribo, Secretary-General; and Comr Obiefuna Emmanuella, Public Relations Officer.
