The Department of Geomatics and Surveying has received full accreditation for its Bachelor of Science degree programme.

 

According to a report from the Public Relations and Protocol Unit, the accreditation is valid for the period 2024 to 2029.

 

The good news was conveyed to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin in a letter from the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON), the regulatory and professional body for the programme.

 

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba Omoregie, SAN, congratulated the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and reaffirmed his continuous support for all faculties in the University.

 

He further stated that this achievement stands as a testament to UNIBEN’s status as a leading tertiary institution committed to running fully accredited and professionally relevant academic programmes.
