The management of the University of Benin has announced an adjustment to the schedule of its Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) examinations for the 2025/2026 first semester.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, the examinations, originally slated for Saturday, March 28, 2026, were rescheduled due to the monthly Edo State Environmental Sanitation Exercise. The exercise, which holds from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., necessitated the change to ensure compliance with state directives and to allow for a smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations.
Under the revised timetable, ENT 211 will now hold at 12:00 noon, followed by ENT 312 at 2:00 p.m., and CED 300 at 3:00 p.m.
University authorities urged Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments to take note of the changes and ensure full compliance. Students were also advised to adhere strictly to the updated schedule and make themselves available at the designated times.
The circular was signed by Mrs. Esosa Sharon Egbon on behalf of the Registrar and distributed to key university officials and notice boards across the institution.
The adjustment underscores the institution’s commitment to aligning academic activities with state regulations while maintaining the integrity of its examination process.
