The Boys Without Borders, Nigeria (BWBNG) has announced the second edition of the Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition, calling for submissions.
The Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition is an event put together annually to commemorate the International Day of Boy-Child. As a boy-child advocacy organisation, Boys Without Borders empowers the male child, raising awareness on issues that affects them and creating platforms to help them get proper self-development.
The Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition, with the topic, “Challenging Harmful Stereotypes: Becoming Allies In The Fight For Equality”, has started receiving submissions from male undergraduates in Nigerian universities. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2025 and the first three winners are to receive N70,000, N50,000 and N30,000 respectively. Access to mentorship programmes are also given to the top 10 entrants of the competition.
