After nearly one year at home by the Nigerian students, it appears there would be an emergence of a new industrial action.

The Nigeria Labour Congress have disclosed its readiness to embark on a full blown strike.

The Congress maintained its decision is necessitated by the inability of government to implement minimum wage law, hoarding of petroleum products and establishment of state judicial council.

After a meeting by the national executive council of the labour congress, the union reiterated determination to embark on a total shut down if its resolutions were not met after the nation – wide protest billed to commence tomorrow being Wednesday.
