The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, just a few hours after his inauguration, nominated Oshiomhole’s son as Commissioner of Health, Samson Osagie as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Barrister Musa Ikhilor as Secretary to the State Government.

The newly appointed Commissioner of Health, Dr Cyril Oshiomhole, is the son of the former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, who served from 2008 to 2016 and is currently a senator representing Edo North. Dr Cyril, alongside others, has an impressive educational background.

Dr Cyril who pursued his higher education and earned his Bachelors Degree in Medicine and Surgery ( MBBS) at Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria . And he Underwent his Post graduate studies at the Harvard University Boston.

Dr Samson Osagie who hails from Uhunmwode local government in Edo state was called to bar on March 22nd 1995 and he is also the current Vice President of the African bar Association.

Barrister Ikhilor nominated for SSG , has over 11 years of experience in Law making procedures and Processes.

This was announced in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua.
