On the fourth of February, 2025. Veteran actor Chinwetalu Agu took to his Instagram space to shower praises on Yemi Alade, a popular female Nigerian artist and nominee of the 67th Grammy. In the video, Chinwetalu Agu shared, he started by addressing the female musician as a Queen who, though she might not have won the Grammy, has won his heart. He went forward to give Yemi Alade her flowers.

The Nigerian veteran actor praised her decision to African culture through her dressing to the Grammy without caring about anyone’s opinion. In his words, he said her outfit was screaming, “I don’t come to impress you; I know my route.”

He further praised her modesty, elegance, and discipline as a lady, encouraging her to continue being an icon to many young girls.

He ended his speech of admiration by praying that the “Johnny “singer finds her Johnny at the perfect time.

Yemi Alade, in turn, responded by showing appreciation, in her words, “Someone is cutting one bag full of onions; God bless you, sir”. This drama left a lot of Nigerians in admiration of both celebrities.
