UNIBEN Faculty Of Arts is yet to have a stable timetable.
It is no news that Faculty Of Arts is one of the most reputable faculties in Uniben, but the History seems to begin to take a turn. Since the start of this second semester, faculty Of Arts is yet to have a stable timetable; even in the third week of resumption.
Most of the lecturers have not been turning up and classes have been on fixed time by the lecturers and students, not according to the provisional time table that was released initially, of which some courses were missing from it.
Ikuobase James, an aspirant for the seat of Faculty of Arts Association (FASA) president said it is the duty of the FASA time table officer, to set a time table that will settle every dept in the faculty. He made mention of this affecting his department, ISD, as classes have not really been held, due to the fact that the lecturers have not been turning up. He went further to say that the issue of unstable time table cannot be blamed on the faculty time table officer alone, but also on the lecturers who had not been going for lectures. He also mentioned concerning the news of a new FASA time table, that he has not heard of it, but if it is, then we will have to wait and see.

He motioned that if he gets to the post of FASA president, he will have to work in hand with the course Representatives of different Dept. and levels, as they have more connections with their lecturers, so as to combat this issue of irregular time table.
Students of the faculty Of Arts are really having a hard time with this, as most of the classes are not being held.
As the case is, this semester is short, exam starts in few weeks and no sign of even the course outline for some courses. What is to be done FASA? You can’t continue this way!.
